Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian citizen (as per AIIMS rules).

  • Age: Varies by post (typically 18–35 years). Relaxation for reserved categories and PwBD as per govt. norms. E.g. Assistant (Max 30 yrs), Junior Admin Asst. (18–30 yrs).

  • Education: As per post – ranges from 10th pass with ITI/Trade certificate (e.g. Lineman, Technician) to Graduate/PG (e.g. Assist. Admin Officer, Assistant Dietician).

    • Assistant Dietician: M.Sc. in Food & Nutrition + 2 yrs experience (Max 35 yrs).

    • Senior Nursing Officer: B.Sc Nursing + required experience (21–35 yrs).

    • UDC/JAO/Accounts: Bachelor’s degree with typing/PC skills, ages 18–30.

  • Experience: Required for certain posts (e.g. Dietician, JE, etc. – see official notification).

  • Other: OBC (NCL), SC/ST, EWS certificates as applicable; PwBD (40%+) with relaxation; NOC for serving government employees by 6 July.

Application Process

  1. Registration: Go to the AIIMS exams portal (OTR). If not already, complete One-Time Registration.

  2. Login & Apply: Select “CRE-5” application link, fill personal, educational, experience, etc.

  3. Upload Documents: Photo, signature, thumb impression (as per specifications). Provide category/EWS/PwBD/NOC certificates if applicable.

  4. Exam Center Choice: Choose exam center (state-wise).

  5. Fee Payment:

    • General/OBC: ₹3,000/- (per group applied)

    • SC/ST/EWS: ₹2,400/-

    • PwBD: Nil.
      (Fees are non-refundable; SC/ST refunded after exam.)

  6. Final Submission: Review & submit the application; download the confirmation/registration slip.

  7. NOC Upload: If employed in govt./PSU/Autonomous, upload No Objection Certificate by 6 July 2026.

  8. Status Check: Verify application acceptance on 9 July 2026.

  9. Admit Card: Download from AIIMS site a few days before CBT.

Selection Process

  • Computer-Based Test (CBT): 100 multiple-choice questions (400 marks) in 90 minutes. Sections: General Knowledge, Aptitude & Computer (20 Q), and 80 domain-specific questions. Negative marking of ¼ for each wrong answer.

  • Skill Test: For applicable posts (e.g. Steno, Lab Tech), qualifying in nature.

  • Document Verification: Qualification, age, category proofs, etc.

  • Merit/Preference: Based on CBT scores, candidates fill preferences for institutes. Seat allocation to qualifying candidates and verification thereafter.

Final selection hinges on CBT score, skill test (if any) and successful document verification.

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

  • Pattern: Objective test – 100 Q of 4 marks each, 90 minutes.

  • Syllabus:

    • General Knowledge & Current Affairs (20 questions)

    • Reasoning/Aptitude & Computer Fundamentals (20 Q)

    • Domain knowledge (60 Q; based on post applied – e.g. Engineering subjects for JE, Nursing for NO, etc.).

  • Previous years’ question papers and post-wise syllabi help in preparation.

Pay Scale

Post-wise pay follows the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. For example:

  • Level 1 (₹18,000) – e.g. Hospital Attendant Grade-III, ANM.

  • Level 2 (₹19,900) – UDC, Wireman, LDC.

  • Level 4 (₹25,500) – DEO-A, Electrician, Jr. Admin Assistant.

  • Level 5 (₹29,200) – Warden (Medical Coll.), Pharmacist, Lab Tech.

  • Level 6 (₹35,400) – JAO, JE (Civil/Electrical), Technical Assistant (OT/MLT).

  • Level 7 (₹44,900) – Dietician, A.E. (Civil/Elect/AC&R), Librarian Grade I.
